Gary R. Staring, 73, of Phoenix, passed away on Monday at home surrounded by his family. Born in Syracuse, he retired after 40 years from the Teamster Local 317.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Patricia Staring.

He is survived by his daughters, Catherine (Robert) Hayes Jr., Kimberly (Joseph) Edick, and Karen Staring; grandchildren, Nicholas Staring, Emilee Edick, Joseph Edick, Gracie Edick and Kensington Staring; sister, Nancy Granger; niece, Shelly Andrews and nephew Dan Andrews.

There will be no calling hours. Services will be private.
