Gary L. Dunn, 50, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday March 20, 2008 at his home. He was born in Johnson City and has lived in the Binghamton area most of his life before moving to Syracuse in 2003. He was a Navy Veteran from 1977 – 1985. During his military tenure, he served on the USS Forrestal (CVA 59) and eventually became an E6 Class. After the service he worked for Vail-Blue Printing for several years and Van Duyn Home & Hospital.

Survivors: his wife, Karen L. Dunn; two daughters, Lisa Silkworth of Nedrow and Shannon Dunn of Binghamton; a son, Sean Dunn of Binghamton; two sisters, Billie Lynn of California and Vicky Freeman of Windsor, NY; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Syracuse in the Bea Lattimore Room, 1st Floor, North Wing Entrance. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
