Fred C. Nye, 88, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at VanDuyn Home & Hospital. He was born in DeRuyter and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a truck driver for International Paper in Oswego for many years.

Survivors: his son, Gary Nye of Syracuse; his long time companion, Evelyn Stephens; and close friend, John Dunham.

Services are private. No calling hours. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
