Obituary

Franklin E. "Frank" Prall, 87, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025.

Frank grew up on Prall Road, Fulton, and was a 1956 graduate of Phoenix High School. After serving his country in the United States Army, Frank returned home and worked at General Electric, followed by several years at Timbello Enterprises, Inc. His integrity and commitment to excellence earned him deep respect everywhere he worked.

Frank's professional life was marked by a distinguished 25-year tenure at Syracuse Supply Company. There, he excelled as a skilled heavy equipment mechanic, foreman, and sales and service technician for CAT machinery.

Aside from his charming smile, Frank was known for his strong work ethic, a quality he proudly instilled in his three daughters. We will miss his kidding that he and us girls were, "born on Tough Street," giving us the strength to get through anything.

In addition to being an avid NY Yankees fan, Frank was a true outdoorsman—a part time farmer and big game hunter who also enjoyed golf, gardening and later in his retirement, spending his winters in Florida with Ann. But most importantly, he was "Dad," and will be sorely missed.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Dorotha and John Prall, Sr., two brothers, Michael and Robert Prall and a sister Elenor Jenkins.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his three loving daughters, Trisha (Tim) Czyz, Heather (John) Speach and Jennifer (Mike) Bombardo; his significant other, Ann Zahn, whom he's spent the past 13 wonderful years with; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Alexis, Allison, Melanie, Clayton and Madison; four great-grandchildren; his brother John (Marcia) Prall, Jr., and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the spring at Jacksonville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank's memory to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Baldwinsville, NY. beaverlakenaturecenter.org
