Frank Ferrante, 63, of Syracuse passed away Thursday December 19, 2013 with his family by his side at University Hospital. He was a native of Syracuse and lived in the area all of his life. Frank graduated from St. Joseph's College of Nursing and was a registered nurse at University Hospital. He was a volunteer fireman and past President for Lakeside Fire Department. Frank was a communicant of and an active member of St. Augustines Church. His family meant everything to him and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father Carmen Ferrante.

Survivors: his wife of 41 years the former Sharon Sakowski; three daughters, Doreen (Robert) Wrobel, Tina (Jesse) Bubniak and Shannon Ferrante; four sons, Steven, Frank (Melissa), Brian (Michelle) and Mark (Karen); his mother, Louise Ferrante and ten grandchildren all of the Syracuse area.

Services: 11:15am Monday December 23, 2013 at the Falardeau Funeral Home in Baldwinsville and 12:00 pm at St. Augustines Church. Calling hours are 2-5pm Sunday December 22, 2013 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
