Frank C. Bloomingdale, 86, of Syracuse died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 after a long illness. He was born in Voorheesville, and was raised in the Albany area until moving to the Syracuse area in 1956. He retired from New York Telephone in 1985 after 45 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII where he served in the Phillipines, and was a member of St. Paul's First United Methodist Church. Frank was an avid Ham Radio Operator, K2JSA. His wife, Gladys passed away in 1995.

Survivors: one daughter, Frances L. (Robert Newton) Bloomingdale of Syracuse; one brother, Frederick Bloomingdale of Canajoharie.

Services: 7:00pm Friday, July 30, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial will be at 2:00pm Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland Center, NY. Calling hours are 4-6:45pm Friday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
