Francis J. Waddington, Jr (Waddy) 70, of Baldwinsville, passed away at home, surrounded by his girls on Monday June 27, 2016. He was the son of the late Francis Sr and Amorette Waddington. He was a 1963 graduate of CBA and was a communicant of St Mary's of the Assumption Church. A former road patrol deputy with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department for several years, Frank retired from Niagara Mohawk in 2002. Frank enjoyed playing golf, summer visits to Old Forge with his girls and took pride in his little Christmas 'farm'.



In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Balch. Left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Elsie (McCord), daughters Laura Waddington (Michael Rose), Sarah Waddington and granddaughter, Samantha Waddington. Frank is also survived by his brother, Mark (Terri) as well as several nieces and nephews.



As a family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Thomas LaClair and his staff, Hospice of CNY and the many friends (new and old) for the unwavering love and support as we traveled down this challenging path of living with PSP.


Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 1, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 2 at 10:00am with burial to follow in Jacksonsville Cemetery.
