Frances Lynn (Clemons) Scalzo, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY, died peacefully on November 6, 2025, at Syracuse Home surrounded by her loving family.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Syracuse home for the wonderful care that Frances received.

She was born January 1, 1943, in Watertown, NY, to the late Frank and Carrie (Allen) Clemons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Clemons.

Frances graduated from Syracuse University and spent her years working as a bookkeeper and office manager. In 1974, she married the love of her life Peter, her husband of 47 years.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time at Lake Ontario, and SU Basketball. She especially loved her cats.

She is survived by a daughter, Robin Urbaniak (John) and a son, Rick Palmer (Patience); grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren), Kimberly, Joelle, Rebekah (Brad), and Mary; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and services are private. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
