Floyd J. Bombardo, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 28, 2026.

Floyd was a talented craftsman with a natural gift for building and remodeling. He shared his talents with friends and family, passing on valuable skills. Mention a home improvement project to Floyd, and before long there'd be a hammer swinging, a hole in the wall, and that trademark grin on his face; the project had officially begun!

After retiring from Syroco, Floyd relocated to Georgia, where he owned and operated "The Boat Doctor," specializing in custom canvas work.

Floyd loved hosting gatherings for friends and family. He enjoyed golfing and playing poker at the casino.

Floyd was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Mary Bombardo, and his brothers-in-law, William May, Arthur, John and Martin Tickner.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 61 years, Judith Bombardo, children: Michael (Jennifer) Bombardo, Christine (Craig) Blaisdell, Robert Bombardo, and Caroline (John) Goodwin; grandchildren: Matthew (Faith) Blaisdell, Jessica (Tony) Patton, Julia Goodwin, Sara Goodwin, Makayla Bombardo and Madison Bombardo; great-grandchildren: Parker and Elizabeth Blaisdell; siblings: James (Rita) Bombardo, Rose May and Anita (Joseph) Yapsuga; sister-in-law, Joan Tickner; brother-in-law, Bill (Jean) Tickner; sister-in-law, Cynthia (William) Hooven; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Falardeau Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home, located at 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
