Evelyn D. Peneston, 84, of Baldwinsville died Sunday, September 17, 2017, at the Cunningham Nursing Home in Syracuse, NY. She was born January 28, 1933, in Syracuse, and had lived in Baldwinsville since 1964. Evelyn retired in 1999 after a career as a bookkeeper and payroll specialist for a number of local businesses. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Jeanne in 1970, her husband of 47 years, George, in 2005, as well as five older brothers and sisters.

Survivors: a daughter, Kathryn (Barry) Germinara of Weedsport; two sons, Jeffry (Jan) of Pennellville and William (Tracey) of Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews. She passed surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and her adoring niece, Karen.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 5-7pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 10 am at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Burial in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
