Evelyn J. (McArdell) Fox, 73, of Phoenix died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Oneida Healthcare Center. She was born in Volney and lived in Plainville and Lorraine prior to moving to Phoenix. Evelyn was a member of the Ladies Auxillaries of the Baldwinsville American Legion Post #113 and VFW Post #153. Her passion was cooking and baking for her family and friends.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Gale McArdell, her parents, Kenneth and Jeannette Sedner, and a sister, Pat Jones.

Survivors: her children, Gale (Kris) McArdell of Baldwinsville, Darlene (Darrell) Morgan of Elkton, MD, Douglas McArdell of Baldwinsville, Glenn (Giselle) McArdell of Marcellus, Jeff (Patti) McArdell of Elkton, MD and Mike (Shellie) McArdell of Watertown; 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Gene (Ellie) Sedner of Fulton, George (Wilma) Sedner of Virginia and Maggie (Walter) McArdell of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Friday, April 17, 2009, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 5-7pm Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
