Evelyn P. Courto, 79, of Baldwinsville, formerly of Utica, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Francis House surrounded by her children. She was born in Queens and lived in the Utica area most of her life. Evelyn was employed in the Bursar's office at Utica College for 39 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph F. Courto, Jr. in 2006.


Evelyn is survived by her children; Sharon (James) Smith of Fairport, Bonnie (Gary) Christensen of Camillus and Perry (Sandra) Courto of Oneida; 7 grandchildren, Evelyn and Jimmy Smith, Renee Vogelsang, Ann and Richard Courto, Kevin and Lauren Baildon; her brothers, Edward (Sandy) Rooney and Patrick Rooney all of New York Mills; several nieces and nephews.


Calling hours are 1:00pm – 3:00pm Saturday, June 13, 2015, with a service to follow at 3:00pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY.
