Ethel Munson Holley, 90, of Holley Road, Moravia, died Thursday, August 14, 2003, at Cayuga Medical Center. Mrs. Holley was born April 4, 1913, in Lapeer, NY. She was the daughter of the late David and Sarah Munson. She was valedictorian for her Class of 1931, in Berkshire, NY. On October 14, 1934, she married Gordon C. Holley. Mr. Holley died August 7, 1982 at his home in Moravia. She was a Girl Scout leader in Waverly in the late '40s. When she moved to Moravia, the Waverly troop named the troop the "Holley Troop" in her honor.

Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne (Bernard) LaTour of St. Cloud, FL and Sonya (Gordon) Hastings of Baldwinsville; a son, Gordon Holley of Rome; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-granchildren.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 11:00am at Calvery Baptist Church, Preble, NY. Lunch and fellowship following the service.
