Ernestine V. McIndoe, 96, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Health Services. She was born May 19, 1920 in East Long Meadow, MA to Burt and Grace Pollock Pixley. Ernestine was employed by Ames Linen Service in Cortland for over 40 years. She was a member of the Cortland Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved to garden and swim, but family was her life. She was an amazing mother and grandmother.

Ernestine is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Erwin Pixley, and her sisters Grace and Lucille Pixley.

Ernestine is survived by her daughters, Virginia Franke of Baldwinsville and Marion Holt of Homer; brother, Albert Pixley of Springfield, VT; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Services are 6 pm Friday, September 2 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Homer, NY.
