Eric L. McArdell, 51, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. Born in Syracuse.

Eric was a loving husband, father, and friend to many.

He brought warmth, humor, and strength to everyone around him.

He enjoyed the outdoors including camping, fishing, boating, the Thousand Islands (Welsley Island) which was his happy place.

He loved spending quality time with family, friends, and most of all his grand puppy Indica.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela J. Trapp, and his father, Gary McArdell.

He is survived by his wife Ronda; sons, Kyle McArdell and Chase McArdell.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
