Elmer J. Barnett, Sr., 92, of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Loretto Nursing Home, Syracuse. He was born in Brushton, NY and lived in Carthage since 1917 until moving to Syracuse in 1960. He retired from Sealtest Ice Cream Co. in Syracuse, and was previously employed with Syracuse China. He moved to Baldwinsville in 1997 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in both Carthage and Baldwinsville.

Survivors: son E. John, Jr. (Priscilla); granddaughter, Laura A. (Joe) Ravas and grandson, Darryl J. (Mary); 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Services: 5:00pm Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Private burial in Carthage, NY. Calling hours are 2-5pm Sunday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
