Elmer John Barnett Jr., 69, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Carthage and lived in North Syracuse the past 15 years. John was a retired employee of Sealtest and a 10-year employee of Loretto.

Survivors: his wife of 47 years, Priscilla Barnett; a daughter, Laura (Joseph) Ravas of Baldwinsville; a son, Darryl (Mary Ledford) Barnett of Fulton; and three grandchildren, James, Amanda and Heather.

Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
