Elma H. Carrington, 97, of Conifer Village Apts, Baldwinsville passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. Elma was born in Phoenix and lived in Liverpool for several years before moving to Baldwinsville in 1962. Elma was a volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels, was active at the Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville and also worked for the Town of VanBuren Receiver of Taxes Office for a few years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Henry R. Carrington in 1973.

Survivors: three daughters, Eleanor Allen of Brewerton, Kathleen Holmes of N. Syracuse and Elizabeth Schumacher of Cato; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren; and several nephews.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday, September 28, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services are 10:00am Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Community Wesleyan Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Phoenix Rural Cemetery, Phoenix.
