Elizabeth "Betsy" Schubarg of Syracuse, N.Y. died on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born and raised in Syracuse and graduated from Cathedral Academy. The daughter to the late Arthur Warne of Syracuse and Ann McDonald Warne of Ontario, Canada, Betsy was predeceased by her brother Robert "Bob" Warne and sister Mary Katherine "Kay" (Warne) Taylor of Syracuse.

Betsy is survived by three children, Bill Schubarg, Donna Aulds and Jim Schubarg; nine grandchildren: Richard, Timothy and Victoria, Alexander and Abigail, Elise, Adelle, Brooke and Ariella, and one great grandchild, Isla.

As a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Betsy retired after 30 years as a Commercial Customer Service Representative at AT&T, formerly NY Telephone Co., in Syracuse. She was a member of the Bible Study Group at St. Augustine in Baldwinsville. She enjoyed painting and boating in her earlier years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, January 4th, at Falardeau Funeral Home in Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to PACE of CNY, The Centers at St. Camillus of Syracuse, or the Alzheimer's Association.
