Elinor A. Brown (Chamberlain) passed away on October 17, 2008 at the age of 85 in Livingston, Texas, however she resided for much of her adult life in Cicero New York.

She was born in Syracuse, New York on November 3, 1922 to Claire and Myrtle Chamberlain. For many years, Mrs. Brown was employed by the Buttermaid Bakery, the North Syracuse School District and, following her move to Texas, the Houston School District. During the later years of her life Mrs Brown travelled widely in the United States, Europe and New Zealand with her husband and later with other members of her family.

Survivors include a son Erwin H., Jr. of Houston, Texas and a daughter Marlene Granquist of Swanzey, New Hampshire; a sister, Carol Phares of Manlius; a brother, Bruce Chamberlain of Sackets Harbor. Her husband Erwin H., Sr. and a son Alan preceded her.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, November 14, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in Mrs Brown's memory to a favorite charity.
