Eleanor I. Munzel, 95, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday, July 2 at Menorah Park Health Care Facility.  She was born on August 6, 1927 in Gasport, NY, and resided there until moving to Baldwinsville, NY in 2015.

Eleanor was the daughter of the late Florence and Henry Ingersoll.  She married her husband, Herman L. Munzel Jr., on July 29, 1951 at the Quaker Rd. United Methodist Church.  Eleanor was a secretary with Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 30 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gasport, NY, the Ladies Aid, and enjoyed knitting and gardening.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Florence Ingersoll; husband, Herman; her daughter, Marcia Stapleton; siblings, Marvin Ingersoll, Elizabeth Laskey, and Ruth Siefelt.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Mark) Anderson of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, Erik Anderson, Kristana (Wayne) Glaude, David (Jillian), Michael (Maria), and Stephen Stapleton; six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, August 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Ave., Gasport, NY. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to, Zion Lutheran Church, Gasport.
