Eleanor R. Janowski, 91, of Syracuse, passed away March 4, 2019, peacefully with loving family by her side. Eleanor was born In Syracuse and was a graduate of St Vincent DePaul school in Syracuse. She married her childhood sweetheart at 18, and together her and Fred raised 6 boys. She had many interests but none was greater than being a good mother to her children.

Outside of being a good mother, Eleanor very much enjoyed gardening, especially when it came to flowers, she loved them all, and could grow almost anything. She was also a woman of deep faith. Although she faced lots of diversity in her life as well as declining health in her later years, she not once doubted her Christian beliefs. She will always be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother as the love in her heart for her children never faded and was displayed always and endlessly. She will be deeply missed by all who have known her, and without any doubt she departed this world on angels wings. God Keep you Bless You Mom.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Fred and sons; David and Fred "Butch".

Surviving Eleanor are her sons; Richard (Norma), Robert (Cathy), Donald (Wendy), Stephen (Jill), Sister Jane Straub, grandchildren; Ryan, Jason, Nicole, Robert, Andrew, Lilly, and 6 great-grandchildren.
