Eleanor A. Seaver Gilbert, 86, of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday, March 31, 2006. She was born in VanBuren, was a 1937 graduate of Solvay High School and had lived in the Baldwinsville area since 1938. She was a volunteer for the Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville for 12 years and a past member of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis in 1968, a son Robert in 1994, a daughter Carol in 2005 and long time companion, Joel Stephensonson in 2002.

Survivors: one daughter, Denice C. Gilbert of Macedon, NY; two sons, John of Memphis, NY and Richard of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 1:00pm Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 11:00am to 1:00pm Tuesday prior to the service.
