Eleanor M. Burgess, 84, of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at St. Josephs Hospital. She worked for General Electric for 32 years as a Lab Technicial before retiring in 1987. Eleanor was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #153 and a former Ladies Auxiliary President of the Military Order of the Purple Heart #406. She was an avid boater and loved to camp. Eleanor was predeceased by her son, Gerald Yerdon in 2009.

Survivors: Her husband of 47 years, Robert D. Burgess of Baldwinsville; 2 daughters, Christine Evans and Rosemary Gilmore, both of Baldwinsville; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
