Eldred F. ''Bob'' Disinger, 79, of Baldwinsville died Monday. Born in Syracuse, he attended Nottingham High School and lived in Baldwinsville more than 50 years. He retired in 1983 from General Electric Co. after 38 years. He was a member of Erwin First United Methodist Church in Syracuse. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors: His wife of 58 years, the former Jean Bartholomew; four daughters, Susan Vanderveer, Barbara Stowe and Lysbet Galey, all of Baldwinsville, and Ruth Wells of Liverpool; two sons, Thomas of Baldwinsville and David of Syracuse; a sister, Phyllis Cady of Florida; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday in Erwin First United Methodist Church. Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
