Edward J. Spencer, 71, of Warners passed away at home on Sunday, May 31 2015. He was born in Syracuse and worked as a Millwright at New Venture Gear for 34 years. Ed was a lover of street rods and was a member of Empire Rodman Club. Ed was a former member of the Central NY Street Rods and Warners Fire Department. He enjoyed driving his 1930 Ford Model A, long drives, going to car meets, Friday night fish fry with his wife Jean and friends. Ed's true love was his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always there for family and friends at their time of need. Ed is pre deceased by his brother Frank and grandson Danny.
Survivors: wife Jean; daughters Jean (Tom) Herbert, Donna (Mike) Kenny; son Ed (Nancy) Spencer; sisters Margaret (Phil) Sherwood, Dorothy (Bill Long) Graulich, Eleanor (Terry) Hill; brother Charles (Sue) Spencer; sister-in-law Barbara Spencer; grandchildren Heather, Michael, Chris, Nate & Kaitlyn; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Friday, June 5, 2015 10:30 am at the funeral home. Calling hours are Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4 to 7pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home , 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Ed will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery.
