Obituary

Edward F. Korczakowski, 89, formerly of Baldwinsville, died peacefully at home in Martville with his family at his side. Edward proudly served in the United States Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during WWII as a Flight Engineer on B-25's during the Pacific Theater. He retired from Carrier in 1978 as a machine operator and was caretaker of St. Mary's Cemetery in Baldwinsville for 17 years. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Fanny M. (Deloff) Korczakowski in 1997 after 55 years of Marriage.

Survivors: six children, Mary Kunkel of Weedsport, Katherine (Zbigniew) Lewandowski of Cato, Stephanie DiMicco of Martville, Edward (Diane) of Cato, Michael (Marcy) of West Monroe and John of Baldwinsville; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 8:45am Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 9:30am at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Syracuse. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
