Edward J. Hardter, Jr., 53, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of his life. He was a 1974 graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He was previously employed as a draftsman for Stone & Webster, worked for VIP Structures in Syracuse, and worked for Carrier for several years. Edward enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He was pre-deceased by his father, Edward J. Hardter, Sr. in February and brother, Paul E. Hardter in 2002.

Survivors: His children, Edward J. Hardter, IV, Krystina L. Hardter, and Kimberlie A. Hardter, all of Parish; his mother, Shirley Hardter of Baldwinsville; sisters, Debbie Hollington and Laurie Long, both of Baldwinsville; brother, Stan Hardter of Baldwinsville; grandmother, Leta May Hardter of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, October 16, 2009 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
