Edward Joseph Denis, 81, of Baldwinsville died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at his home. A native of Tupper Lake, Mr. Denis resided in the Syracuse area most of his life. He graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was employed with Allied Chemical for many years. Edward was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was predeceased by a stepson, William Dyer; a sister, Theresa Borden; and two brothers, Joseph and Kenneth Denis.

Survivors: his wife of 33 years, Elaine R. Denis, a daughter, Denise Denis of SanFrancisco, CA; a stepson, Russell (Carolyn) Rowland of Baldwinsville; five sisters, Ruth LaCombe of Massena, Gertrude D'Arienzo of Jacksonville, FL, Eleanor Johns of Depew, Nancy Schlett of Tupper Lake and Patricia Eggsware of Piercefield; three brothers, Alfred and Ronald both of Piercefield and George of Tupper Lake; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: will be private and at the convenience of the family.
