Edna J. Nelson, 95, of Baldwinsville died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Crouse Hospital. She was born June 23, 1911 in Park Ridge, IL and was a resident of Palatine, IL until 2001 when she moved to Baldwinsville. She resided at Park Terrace at Radisson, where she spent some of the best years of her life. Even though she lived with assisted living, she never stopped assisting others. Edna was also once an avid gardener and bowler. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1981 and 7 brothers and sisters.

Survivors: her son and daughter-in-law, John and Evelyn of Baldwinsville; a sister, Betty Bush of Palm Harbor, FL; a granddaughter, Jyl Nelson of Mahwah, NJ; 4 grandsons, Randy Perkins of Lancaster, NY, Keith Nelson of Mahwah, NJ, Bryan Nelson of Jersey City, NJ and Jay Nelson of Fort Collins, CO; a great grandson, Trevor Perkins of Lancaster, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: There will be a memorial service at a later date. Per Edna's request, there will be no calling hours and the burial will be private.
