Duane Michael Woodall, 36, of Watertown, MA formerly of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday at Auburn Medical Center in Cambridge, MA. He was born in Syracuse, raised in Baldwinsville and had lived in Massachusetts the past several years. A star football player and wrestler, Duane was a 1997 graduate of Baker High School. He was a Section 3 heavyweight champion wrestler, was a member of the Mowhawk Valley Wrestling Club and was in the Empire State Games in Buffalo in 1998. Duane also played semi-pro football with the Watertown Red & Black team in Watertown, NY. He was a past member of the Carpenters Union and was employed with Home Depot in Watertown, MA.
Duane was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Cumm; his paternal grandparents, M. Josephine and Maurice Woodall.
Survivors: His beloved partner, Jessica Bourne; his parents, Susan L. and Duane S. Woodall; his maternal grandmother, Marceline Ecker; sister, Tracey (E. Javier) Mayen of Avon; brothers, Andrew S. Woodall and Mitchell L. Woodall both of Baldwinsville; two nephews, Alexander and Gabriel; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services: 9:30 am Friday at St. Mary's Church Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 4–8pm Thursday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY.
