Douglas Michael West, 58, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of his life. He was an employee of Cooper Industries for the past 18 years. A US Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, he rode with the Patriot Guard throughout the Central NY area. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan in 2010.

Survivors: his children; Erin Irene Gay of Baldwinsville, Crystal Jean West of Phoenix, AZ and Nicholas James West of West Monroe; his grandchildren; his weekend wife, Jeri Flandera; his siblings, Suzan West of Lafayette, Lynn Puhle of the Bahamas, Bonnie Wiles of Skaneateles, Lori, her husband Mike (the good Mike) Farrell of Liverpool, Brenda Merlino of Fulton, Karen West of Brewerton and Glenn and Kirsten Evans of Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Falardeau Funeral Home,, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 6-9pm Monday, June 3, 2013, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
