Dorothy Freyleue Rose, 75, of Charlotte Street, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at her home. Born in New York City, she lived in the Baldwinsville area since 1951. She graduated from the State University College at Brockport, and received a master's degree in counseling and a master's degree in religion from Syracuse University. She retired in 1998 as chief executive officer of the InterReligious Council of Central New York in Syracuse after 22 years. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Baldwinsville and was past president of the National Association of Ecumenical & Interreligious Staff. She was a member of Theta Chi Beta religion honorary society and Thursday Morning Roundtable.

Survivors: Her husband, the Rev. Howard J.; three daughters, Diane Whiting of Scituate, Mass., Kristine Collins of Philadelphia and Laura Persechino of Buffalo; a son, Donald K. Freyleue of Ipswich, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Rose of Yonkers; two stepsons, Mark Rose of Bethpage and Stephen Rose of Binghamton; a brother, Robert Dunn of New York City; nine grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2002 in Grace Episcopal Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
