Dorothy Major, 71, passed on Friday, August 26, 2005 at her home following a brief illness. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Survivors: her husband Richard; her two daughters, Marolynne Doner of Solvay and Karolynne Walker of Syracuse. Also survivng are her brothers and sisters; Ida Nawrocki and Frank Roth of New Jersey, Arlene Jones and William Roth of North Carolina; Fred Roth, Raymond Roth, Robert Roth, Allen Roth, Ralph Roth, Jean Roberts, Shirley St. Andrews also from Syracuse. Dorothy leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 5 stepchildren.

Services: Monday, August 29, 2005 at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3474 Stiles Road. People may call on the family from 4-6pm with the service being from 6-7pm. A light luncheon will follow.
