Dorothy C. (Johnston) Brown, 96, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday. Originally from Homer, NY, Dorothy and her husband Dr. Arthur W. Brown moved from Miami, FL to Baldwinsville 15 years ago. Dorothy was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, a son Arthur, and her siblings; Faye Nye, Helen Davies, Martha Sutton, Don Johnston and George Johnston.

Survivors: her daughters, Ann Marie (Allan) Root of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, Margaret (Frank) O'Neil of LasVegas, NV, Sr. Patricia Schofield of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mary (Roy) Foster of Sevierville, TN and Deborah (John) Schrot of Birmingham, MI; her sons Michael (Elaine) Brown of Baldwinsville and Thomas Brown of Leeds, NY; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2014, at St. Mary's Church. Spring burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cortland.
