Dorothea "Mickey" Burgess December 14, 2020 Dorothea "Mickey" Burgess, 82, passed away on Monday, December 14 at Bishop Rehabilitation Center. She was a lifetime resident of Baldwinsville and loved her house on the river. Mickey had many careers over the years and was an entrepreneur. Mickey loved sewing and was the owner of the Stitch and Nitch in Tri-County Mall. She would often make her own clothing and enjoyed needlepoint. She and her late husband, Jack Burgess, enjoyed the races, while he was the race car announcer and she would keep the score. Mickey is predeceased by her husband, Jack Burgess in 1993. She is survived by her step-children, Jeffrey (Deborah) Burgess, Chris Burgess of Skaneateles, Blake Burgess of CA, and Tara (John) Murphy, of Syracuse. Services are private.
