Doris M. Schippey Schultz, 72, of Jones Road, Syracuse, died Friday. Born in Cortland, she lived in the Syracuse area 50 years. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 10 years. She was a member of Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville. Her husband, William H., died in 1997; a daughter, Cathy J. Schultz, died in 1996.

Survivors: A daughter, Marjorie A. Forderkonz of West Monroe; a son, Edward W. of Bridgeport; a sister, Dorothy Hulslander of Florida; three brothers, Howard Schippey of Englewood, Fla., Robert Schippey of Warners and Richard Schippey of Marathon; three grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
