Doris V. Alt of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Crouse Hospital with family and friends in attendance. Doris was the middle daughter of the late Kenneth and Fern Smith of Manlius. She graduated from the Central City Business Institute and started as the office manager at Motorola. She then married her late husband, Paul L. Alt and began a family. They were married for over 50 years. After raising her children, she worked at Anheuser –Busch and retired as the brew master's secretary. Doris was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Home Bureau and other neighborhood clubs. She enjoyed gardening and home canning all the foods grown there.

She is survived by her son, David Alt (Mary Ferguson) of Onondaga; her daughter, Debra Panner (Bryan) of New Hampshire; two sisters, Roberta Wright and Donna Lee Collins, both of Florida; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 2:00pm – 5:00 pm Sunday, July 15th at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services are 11:00am Monday, July 16, 2018, at the funeral home with burial in Kingdom Cemetery.
