Donna M. (Dayton) Herbert, 86, of Baldwinsville passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Donna was born in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.  After graduating from High School in 1955, Donna attended Beauty School in Binghamton, New York earning her beautician's license.  She later worked as a House Mother at the Methodist Children's Home. After marrying her husband, Martin in 1959, Donna moved to Syracuse where she worked as a homemaker, raising her family.  Donna enjoyed spending time with family and friends, trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her husband and was an avid collector.

Donna was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Martin in 2011 and is survived by her son, Steven Herbert of Baldwinsville; daughter, Laurie (Michael) Free of Marcellus; brother, Ronald Wayman of Old Forge, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Joshua Herbert and Rebecca (Anthony) Richardson; and three great-grandchildren, Brea, Lillian and Romeo.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.  A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
