Tommy was born in Bangor, Maine, raised in Queens and Long Island and has been a resident of Baldwinsville for many years. He was a great conversationalist and humorist. Tommy loved animals and was in charge of animal control for many years for the Town of VanBuren. He was a model train enthusiast both indoors and out. Tommy was a Buffalo Bills fan and was able to cheer for them when he attended his last game which they won this past November. A fan of Alex Trubek's Jeopardy, he was excellent in answering the questions in the different categories.
Tommy was predeceased by his mother, Anna May Wright.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Catherine E. Moffitt; his daughters, both of whom he was very proud, Christine Wright and Amanda Wright; his sister, Patricia (Robert) Saccone; a nephew Brian Saccone and a niece, Rebecca Saccone.
Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services are 9:30 am Thursday , January 4, 2018,at the funeral home and 10:00 am in St. Augustine's Church.
