Donald Alan Simpson, 72 of Baldwinsville died Tuesday January 21, 2014 at home. He was born in Auburn. Donald a lifetime Scout, worked as a Scout Executive for The Boy Scouts of America, retiring in 1999 after 24 years. He also worked as a Realtor for Sherlock Homes Real Estate in Auburn. Don volunteered his time for Ss. Peter & John soup kitchen in Auburn and Food Bank of Central New York. Don is predeceased by his Parents; Richard Eugene & Jean Warner Simpson, Sister; Sharon McLean and a Great Grandson.

Survivors: wife, the former Barbara Murray, Daughters; Rhonda L. (Doug) Wayman of, Cato, Racquel L. (Trevor) Cady of, Cato, Sons; William C. Simpson of, Jordan, Donald A. (Karen) Simpson of, Cicero, Sisters; Shirley (Norman) Swanson of, Auburn, Sandra Cuff of, Jordan, Grandchildren; Jean Rae, Cameron Simpson, Amanda (James) Perry, Shawn & Doug Simpson, Mat McWethy, Devon & Carissa Wayman, Christopher, Megan & Grace Cady, Great Grandchildren; Jaiden & Mya Perry, Abby & Jacob McWethy, and many nieces and nephews.

Services: Monday January 27, 2014 at 11am at Grace Episcopal Church Baldwinsville, private burial will be in Soule Cemetery. Calling hours are 1-4pm Sunday, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
