Donald C. Philips, 86, of Fobes Avenue, East Syracuse, died Monday, January 20, 2003 at Vivian Teal Howard Residential Health Care Facility in Syracuse. Born in Cato, he lived in the Syracuse area all his life. He was a salesman for Onondaga Supply in Syracuse for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: A son, Donald D. of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Zella Shattuck of Williamsville, NY and Ruth Sainbury of Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Spring burial at Union Hill Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements.
