Donald M. Carrington, 79, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital with family at his side. Don was a native of Baldwinsville and lived there most of his life. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1959-63. He also served with the Baldwinsville Police Department for 10 years and was a sergeant security guard with Crucible Steel Corporation for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.

Don was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia, Patricia, Robert, Alan and Michael.

Surviving are his wife Elaine; children, Carla, Charles, Christine, Leslie, Doreen and Rosemarie; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Nancy, Helen, Carol, Linda and David; several nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes there will be no services.
