Dolores Carozza Tulloch, 76, of Baldwinsville died on December 8, 2006. She was born and raised in Yonkers, NY. Her parents were Louisa (Bove) and James Carozza. For most of her life, until her marriage, she made her home with her maternal grandparents, Madeline and Philip Bove. After her marriage in 1950 to John Tulloch of Yonkers, the couple moved to Syracuse where the General Electric Company employed John. They moved to Baldwinsville in 1954. A graduate of Yonkers High School, she also was a graduate from Onondaga Community College as a Registered Nurse. She worked in Intensive and Coronary Care Units at St. Joseph's and Memorial Hospitals. She also taught and was a Clinical Instuctor in the Adult LPN program of Central Technical High School. Mrs. Tulloch was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville where she served several terms as Clerk of Session. She was also active in the Presbytery of Cayuga-Syracuse and the Synod of New York and was Past Moderator of the Presbytery. Dolores was an active member of the Auxillary of the Syracuse Home since it moved to Baldwinsville in 1978 and served two terms as its President. In 1990 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Home where she later served three years as President, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Syracuse Home Foundation.
Mrs. Tulloch is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John, three children, John Stewart (Barbara) Tulloch of Pittsfield, MA, Lynne Beth (David) Stone of Elizabeth, WV, and Douglas Alan Tulloch of Park City, UT; four grandchildren, John Stewart Tulloch III (Lori), Christopher Michael Tulloch, Benjamin David Stone and Michael Stewart Stone; a brother Michael (MaryLou) Carozza, Uncle Anthony P. Bove, Aunt Linda Ruth, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Services will be held in the First United Presbyterian Church, Oswego Road, Baldwinsville on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 11:00am. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has charge of the arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville, 64 Oswego Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027, attention to the John and Dolores Tulloch Endowment Fund.
