Diane K. Bowes, 86, of Baldwinsville, NY passed peacefully from this world, with family at her side, during a brief stay at Mcharrie Life at Syracuse Home. She knew she was soon to be with her Lord and Saviour and many loved ones, expressing gratitude to her caretakers, spending her final days saying goodbye to a multitude of family and friends.

She was born in Syracuse, NY, spending part of her childhood in the Valley area, before moving into a home her family built in the hills above at Sentinel Heights (Jamesville, NY). After graduating high school, she attended Alfred State College gaining the skills that kept her employed as a secretary in many diverse settings throughout her life. An accomplished seamstress, and devout Episcopalian, she loved camping, bird watching, ancestry, and being surrounded by friends and family. She is predeceased by her loving husband Richard W. Bowes, and grandson Adrian Bowes.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Bruce Murray of Schenectady, NY, and sister, Kay Rerick of Greenwich, RI, three loving sons, Richard Andrew (Nan) Bowes, Jamie (Barb) Bowes, and Scott (Lisa) Bowes, four grandchildren, Shannon Cath (Dan), Nate Bowes, Madelyn Bowes, Kathryn Bowes, one great grandchild, Shane Cath, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, May 19, 2023 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral service Saturday, 11:00 am at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 904 Vine St., Liverpool, NY. All are invited to participate in a luncheon gathering at St. Matthew's Church, after service. A very active 45 year Grace Church communicant, she will be interred next to her husband at Grace Episcopal Church , 110 Oswego Street, Baldwinsville, NY. Interment following luncheon gathering.
