Dennis O. Van Gorden, 83, of Jordan, NY, passed away on April 27. Born in Binghamton, NY on March 23, 1925, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for General Electric as a electrical engineer until his retirement in 1987. After his retirement he started his own business called Electric Testing Service Inc. He also ran his farm and apple orchard with his wife. They traveled to Florida for many years to their winter home. The family would like to thank Iroquois Nursing Home for their care and kindness.

Survivors: His loving wife of 59 yrs. Agnes (Murphy), 6 daughters, Bonnie Ladd of Liverpool NY, Kathleen (Kenneth) Troast of Baldwinsville NY, Dee (James Iozza) of Jordan, Kelley (Kevin) Clifford of Florida, Cole (Donald) Petrocci of Skaneateles, Sharon (Leslie) Smith of Florida; 3 sons, Michael of Elbridge, Dennis P. of Jordan NY, Mathew (Jennifer Carter) of Bridgeport; 25 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services: 10:15 am Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Warners. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
