Dennis E. Latz, 71, of Weedsport, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he as was an avid gun collector, enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents.

Surviving are his devoted better half, Sue West; children, Gregory Latz and Keri (Michael) Kermes; siblings, Cathleen Nelson, William Latz, Karen Ward, Kevin Latz, and Elaine VanEtten; four grandchildren, Austin Latz, William Latz, Camryn Kermes, and Jordyn Kermes; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 5, from 2-5 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be private.
