David T. Storie, 65, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 unexpectedly at home. He was a graduate of both West Genesee High School and Bryant and Stratton College. He served in the US Army and Air National Guard during the Vietnam War and retired from the Onondaga County D.O.T. in Camillus after over 30 years of service. He was a past Commissioner for Seneca River Fire Dept. and was currently on the Board of Directors for the Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Dept. Dave enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He should always be remembered for loving his country, his sense of humor, as unusual as it was. He will be missed by all. David was predeceased by his parents, Charles A. and Marion E. Storie.

Survivors: his wife of 42 years, Marta Heffer Storie; daughters, Lisa Whidden and Kristina (John) Kuwaliski, both of Baldwinsville; son, David T. Storie, II of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Devin Whidden and Sarah Storie, both of Baldwinsville; brother, Dennis C. Storie of Pulaski; sister, Suzanne M. Storie of Marietta; and several cousins.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services will be at 7:00pm Wednesday following the calling hours. Burial will be private. All are welcome to join the family at the Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Dept. immediately following the service.
