David R. Schlegel, 56, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of his life. He was a graduate of Baker High School. David was the owner and operator of Schlegel Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen M. Schlegel (Loucks); his children, Daniel Schlegel, Mindy (Joshua) Schreiber and Michael Schlegel; his parents, Robert and Rita Schlegel; his siblings, Sarah (David) Lekki, Daniel (Eleanor) Schlegel and Stephen (Bunny) Schlegel; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
