David C. Sauter, Sr., 67, of Baldwinsville died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville 36 years. David received his Masters Degree from Syracuse University and taught in the Liverpool School District for 36 years, retiring in 1998. He taught Project Advance for SU Biology at Liverpool High School and was Summer School Principal for 20 years. David served in the US Navy from 1959-63. Involved with Boy Scouts for 30 years, he was former scout master of Troop 119 and Assistant District Commisioner. David was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, a former member of the Baldwinsville Optimist Club and 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #5082

Survivors: his wife of 41 years, the former Mildred France; two sons, David C., Jr and his wife Annette of No. Syracuse and John M. of Baldwinsville; a sister, Marilyn Rigas of Skaneateles; a brother, Gerald of No. Syracuse; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Allyson Sauter of No. Syracuse; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: 11:30am Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 12:00pm at St. Mary's Church. Burial, Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, November 5, 2004 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street. .
